Animal Magic at Cards for Men

My card for the latest challenge at Cards for Men is for the birth of a baby boy.  The sentiment turned out a bit light to read well - it says "tiny yawns, sleepy sighs, nursery rhymes & lullabies".   The image is Cuddle Dragon from Meljen's Designs which I thought went really well with the sentiment.  The backing paper is from Stampin Up as is the twine.  The prize over at Cards for Men is 4 digi stamps of your choice so why not pop over and join in.  You'll get to see some great ideas from the rest of the team.

Waltzing Mouse Blog Party

Blog-Party-Logo 70%25

It's the 17th which is Blog Party Day at Waltzing Mouse Stamps and I decided I'd join in.  I've never done this before but it seems relatively straight forward.  All you have to do is create a card/project following the theme (Fall), use a Waltzing Mouse image and link to the post between 6.30 pm on 17th September and 6.30pm on 18th September.

Here is my card for the party:
I've used 'Big Blooms - Chrysanthemums' for my card.  The cardstock and ink is Stampin Up as is the ribbon.  I have stamped the background with versamarked leaves and used the small chrysanthemum flower in the squares.  I'm hoping it's okay to also enter this into Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge since I aimed to satisfy both.

Here's the sketch:

We're special friends at Digi Galore

It's the second challenge for Digi Galore today.  The theme is 'For a Friend' and our wonderful sponsor is Sassy Studio Designs.  I've used  Martini Pin Up Sassy and coloured her with promarkers.  My sentiment is using the 'Heather BTN' font which I'm sure will be a regular choice.  It looks very natural as though I've got very good handwriting, lol.  I've made a Birthday Card but this layout/colour scheme could go equally well as a Christmas Card - maybe for boyfriend/husband.  We have a prize of 4 images available for the winner so head across to the main post, get some inspiration and have a go!

It's all digital at Cards for Men

We're back after the summer break over at Cards for Men with a new challenge, new teammates and new vigour (well maybe only 2 out of 3, lol).  The challenge this time is Going Digital and here's my card.  The image is called 'Candle' from The Stamping Boutique who are the sponsors for the challenge.    I've coloured it with my Prismacolours then added a bit of stickles around the flame.  You might not be able to see it in the photo but it's there.  The backing papers came with a magazine and that's about it.

Take  a look at the rest of the DT ideas over at Cards for Men and hopefully we'll see your card in the challenge.  You've got to be in it to win it, so they say.

A Christmas Card

Here are some Christmas Cards I've made using the Stampin Up 'Contempo Christmas' set.  The stamps have a matching punch which I used to cut them out. I wanted to come up with something relatively easy so that I can sit down and do some mass production for my work colleagues.  I've tried two colours, Real Red and Marina Mist and I think they both work well.

I'd like to enter these into the following challenges:
Paper Crafting JourneyAnything Goes
Fun with Shapes & More - Maritim / blue-white and/or red-white
Alphabet Challenge - 2W, 1E, JFF - Week 2, O … only one colour + white

A new challenge starts today....

Well I have some great news!  There's a new challenge blog starting today which is dedicated to digistamps, Digi Galore, and I'm part of the Design Team.  The theme for the first challenge is 'Back to School' and here is my card.  I have used 'Easy as 123' which was a freebie from Meljens Designs.  The background papers are from my stash and I've coloured the image with Prismacolours.

Please pop over and join in with the first challenge at Digi Galore.  You'll find lots of fabulous ideas from my teammates.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Fashionista Challenge  - Card for a Child
