Merry Christmas

That's the message at Digi Galore this week.  Here's my card (which is very late) and I hope you like it.

The sponsor this time is Sassy Studio Designs and I got to use the image, Ellie The Elf.  I've coloured it with Promarkers and added a bit of sparkle with Stickles.  The cardstock is Stampin Up and the other bits are from my stash.  I think this could possibly be suited to a 'Husband' card, maybe.

Pop over to the main site to get all the details of the challenge and to see the wonderful work from my team-mates.

...is my turn to be the host for Cards for Men Christmas Event.  Our sponsor today is Stampin Up and the prize is a £10 gift voucher courtesy of my local Stampin Up Demonstrator, Carole,

I am an Independent Stampin Up! Demonstrator in Lancashire & surrounding areas. I teach large and small scrapbooking and craft classes. I can arrange parties in your home for crafting and non-crafting friends to suit your requirements, and where everyone is guaranteed to have a great time !
I also run a crop in the Rochdale area. Please contact me for more details at carole.bryson@gmail.com xx

So here is my card

This is my tester card to go with Teacher christmas gifts.  There will be a co-ordinating gift tag which I will post in a few days.  I've used the gingerbread die from Stampin Up's Holiday Collection Framelits which I embossed with 'Sugar & Spice' scented embossing powder.  The detail has been added with Sakura Pens which I've also used to fill in the sentiment.  The cardstock is Cajun Craze and Garden Green.  The backing paper is a freebie from a magazine and the punched edge is a Martha Stewart punch.

So, if you want a chance to win this great prize, leave a comment on this post and I'll choose a winner.  Tomorrow will be our last day so make sure you check back at Cards for Men to see who's the final host.

A Card for my Niece

I've made this card for my Niece whose birthday it is tomorrow.  I think I'm safe posting tonight because I don't think she follows my blog :)

The cupcake in the middle is a decoupage set from Craft UK and they really do well for last minute cards.  It's actually an easel card but I couldn't get a good photo of it in the time I had so I just got the front.  The spotty paper was from some freebies that came with a magazine.  Hopefully, she'll like it.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Fussy and Fancy - Anything Goes
Fat Pages & Cards with Attitude – Anything Goes
ATCs & Cards With Attitude - Anything Goes
