The witching hour

As I write this post, it's almost midnight although quite a way from Halloween yet.  Over at Simply Betty Stamps, Betty is mad about Halloween though and has set a great Facebook Fan Challenge.  If you're early enough you can get an image free to use but you must use it in the challenge, only fair I think.  The image is now available to buy, Mercedes Witch, and the challenge runs to September 13th.

Here's my card:

I've coloured the image using promarkers.  The background paper is Basic Grey and I've used a bit of web ribbon from my stash.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Trick or Treat!

I managed to get some crafting time this afternoon whilst hubby was watching football.  I made these goody bags for my three boys for halloween.  The images and sentiment are a free set from Scribbled Kidz which will be available until Wednesday.  The photo is not so great but the haziness maybe adds to the spooky idea.  The images have been coloured with promarkers and the backing papers are from Stampin Up.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

It's time for another challenge over at Cards for Men and this time we have a sketch for you.  Here's my card, but you'll find loads more inspiration over on the main post from my team-mates.  The prize on offer is a 6-pack of Flexmarkers from Letraset so hop on over and join in.

On my card I'm using a new image from Scribbled Kidz which I've coloured with promarkers.  The sentiment is from a Greetings Farm set which I've stamped using Lucky Limeade from Stampin Up.  The lace was a bit from my stash.

Have you heard about Scribbled Kidz?

It's a new digi stamp company with images designed by my hubby!!!  As you can imagine, I love them, but I'm biased.  Please have a look and judge for yourself.  In the meantime, here's a card I made with one of his first images, it's called 'Lookin Scary Tonight'.

I've coloured the image with promarkers, the backing paper is from stampin up and the mesh ribbon was in my stash.  I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Boo!

It's time again for another challenge over at Digi Galore and here's my card for the DT.

The theme is Halloween and the sponsors are the ever-wonderful Bugaboo.  We have a great prize of 7 digis for one lucky winner.  Pop over to the main post to get all the details and to see the rest of my teamies ideas.

I've used a few images from Bugaboo - Silhouette Skull Tree, Halloween Brat Dracula & Halloween Brat Pumpkin (on the inside).  The Skull Tree was printed on acetate, with hindsight I'd print it bigger, but we live and learn.  The other images are coloured with promarkers.  The Cobwebs and spider were cut out on the Cricut from the Mini Monsters cartridge.    The backing paper is from Stampin Up.  Here's a picture of the inside:

I hope to see you joining us over at Digi Galore over the next two weeks.
