January Candy - Day 27

First of all, I'd like to say a big thank you for all your get well wishes.  I'm still not feeling myself and just keep praying that none of the children get anything.  I've only had a cold it just seems to be lingering and I have had about four colds and the flu since September so I think I'm just a bit run down.

Enough of me, today's prize is a set of die-cut sentiments from Craft UK.  I'm not sure if you can tell but they are Gold in colour and I'm sure they'll be very useful.

This candy will close at midnight GMT on 3rd February 2010.  To enter, just leave a comment on each days post and become a follower.  You'll also need to spread the word, either a post or a sidebar entry will do.

January Candy - Day 26

Well, last week was just a right-off.  I had work, then my son's Birthday and then I've been full of cold since Thursday.  Still not well but soldiering on.

So our January Candy will continue on into February for a week or so to catch up.

Today's prize is this great little stamp set.  The stamps combine to make individual vases of flowers.

To enter, just leave a comment on each days post and become a follower.  You'll also need to spread the word, either a post or a sidebar entry will do.  Each day will close at midnight GMT.

Good luck and keep a look out for the winner tomorrow.

Cards for Men Challenge - No. 3

This is my DT card for the latest challenge over at Cards For Men.  I made it for my Son's Birthday last week (he's 8) and we had a sketch to follow.  The base card is Bazill Basics (Blackbird) and the rest is made from a Big & Beautiful pack which contains a die-cut sheet with a complimenting backing paper.  I printed a matching sentiment for my son's name on the PC.

I was really pleased with this card and am left with a good piece of backing paper and some foiled sentiments to use on other cards.

The challenge runs until 14th February so why not have a go.
